After `uchi kaala' pooja, the chief gurukkal of the temple tied `kaapu' to Moolavar, Utsavamurthy, Vinayagar and Parivara idols at the hill temple. Amidst chanting of holy hymns and beating of percussion instruments, Goddess Sri Buvaneshwari Amman was taken in a procession to Pulipani Ashram at the foothills of Palani from the Bogar Sannadhi on the hill temple. Special pujas On Vijayadashmi Day, the concluding day of the festival, Sayaratcha Puja will be performed at 1.30 p.m. and holy lance of Goddess Parasakthi will be brought to Sri Perianayaki Amman Temple in Palani town. At 5 p.m., Lord Muthukumarasamy will take part in `arrow throwing' ceremony at the Shanmuga river bank, near Kodhaimangalam village. Later, the Utsavamurthy will be brought back to Sri Perianayaki Amman Temple at night. The festival will conclude with Ardharathiri Puja. Golden rath procession will not take place during these festival days at the hill temple. Cultural events Cultural programmes will be held at the Sri Perianayaki Amman Temple premises in the evenings during festival days. Navarathri festival has also begun in Sri Abirami Amman Temple, Sri Kottai Mariamman Temple and Sri Vinayagar temple in Dindigul town.
